Chapter Seven History Questions
1.       Draw a map of The Mediterranean and Europe. Include: Italy, Greece, France (Gaul), Germany, Spain, Corsica, Sicily, Sardinia, Carthage, Asia Minor, The Alps, The Apennine Mountains, The Rhine River, The Danube River, The Po River, the Tiber River, ----- MORE TO BE ADDED.

 We started a new play called "Flatline", which I sent to you and is also available on Dramatix on line.
 
Flatline - Questions

  1. What does the title of the play Flatline have to do with the actual story?
  2. Three part Question:
                  What character traits should a good doctor have?
                  What are some character traits that are typically given to a doctor?
                  What were some character traits given to Dr. Able?
  1. Television dramas, movies, etc., are usually meant to entertain but they also often try to influence you with ideas. What can this play lead you to believe about a) spirits, b) angels, c) the devil, d) the state of being unconscious, and e) doctors and nurses?
  2. There is an expression that goes: “The devil can quote scripture for his own purposes”. What do you think is meant by this?
  3. Does this play go along with your idea of spirits and the devil? What are some similarities and differences? (You may use the first person in this answer)
  4. What is the significance of the angel touching Judy on the shoulder at the end of the play?
  5. How does a play differ from a short story in how character is revealed?

We started the play. Looked at the differences between a play and a short story/novel.
Home Work: You do not have to do this but if you want to - try to find a free play on-line that we could do in class. I am currently looking through a site called Dranatix which has a lot of Christian plays. I have read quite a few but I have not found anything yet.
