We went over verb tenses on page 102.

Period #3 History 7 and 8 - 
Test on Chapter 6 probably on Monday, February 27. My test.
We should be through with 6.5 by Friday.
History Questions on Chapter 6.5:

1. Explain what occurred in Greece that made it relatively easy for Philip to conquer southern Greece.

Period #4 English Literature 7
We started to study the Washington speech on war.
Questions on  "Fire at Valley Forge"

1. What is a "forge"?
2. Explain the Corporal's internal conflict in the play.
3. What are a few character traits of Ben that make him stand out form the other boys?
4. Why do you think that these four boys marched for three days to bring gifts to the soldiers?
5. Why do the Corporal and the boys not recognize each other?
6. How does General Washington feel about war?
7. Is war sometimes necessary?

Home Work: Answer question 3, 4, and 5 above. 



Period #5 English Grammar 7 -Spelling Test  on Friday, February 24. This will be on lists 9, 10, 11, and 12. Lists 9, 10 and 11 will be strictly spelling while list #12 will be both spelling and definitions.

Home Work: You do not have to do this but if you want to - try to find a free play on-line that we could do in class. I am currently looking through a site called Dranatix which has a lot of Christian plays. I have read quite a few but I have not found anything yet.
