We will work on 6.4 on Wednesday, and the summary of 6.4 (The Greek philosophy) in class.

Period #4 English Literature 7 Quiz on Friday, February 09 on the parts of the story - from the perspective of a play.
I started a review of the elements of the story from the perspective of a play. We did the setting again today.
Home Work: Study your notes on the plot and setting. The outline for these notes are on the internet at jlcharris.com. under "Rachel's .......".

Home Work -  Spelling words 20 - 25. By substituting "is" in for the verb, you can determine if the verb is action or linking.

Period # 6 - Physical Education.

Period # 7 English Literature 8 - Lit. Quiz on critical thinking and point of view on Friday. Paragraph form. Continue to look at the controversial "Jesus vs Religion". Started on "Story of Stuff" and criticism of said clip.
Started on critical thinking and point of view. Looked at an article from different perspectives.

Home Work: Be critical in thinking. Read a short article on a topic of your choice. Look at it from the perspective of the speaker and from another point of view. Be prepared to read it in class and comment on it.
