Period #3 History 7 and 8 - History Quiz on Monday, March 19. This will be on unit 7.1.

We went over the HW answers, read from the text and I explained the paragraphs using illustrations and outlines on the front board.

Period #4 English Literature 7 Literature Quiz on Tuesday, March 20. This will deal with the two plays studied and the differences between plays and short stories/novels.
We are going over the answers to the questions and discussing the influence of media.

We are looking at the play from the perspective of a director/producer.
Flatline Questions:
  1. What does the title of the play Flatline have to do with the actual story?
  2. Three part Question:
                  What character traits should a good doctor have?
                  What are some character traits that are typically given to a doctor?
                  What were some character traits given to Dr. Able?
  1. Television dramas, movies, etc., are usually meant to entertain but they also often try to influence you with ideas. What can this play lead you to believe about a) spirits, b) angels, c) the devil, d) the state of being unconscious, and e) doctors and nurses?
  2. There is an expression that goes: “The devil can quote scripture for his own purposes”. What do you think is meant by this? How does this apply to "Flatline"?
