18/01/12 Wednesday, Day #6

I have noon duty this week. If you owe me time or need extra help, it will have to be in the AM. I have B-ball practice on Thursday and games on Wed and Friday.

Yesterday we went over 6.1a, made notes on 6.1b and did the map work. Tomorrow I will go over 6.1b and answer the last five questions on page 53.

The next map will be the one on Greece on page 61 in your text. Learn the locations of the following: Adriatic Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea, Hellespont, Crete(Which is actually not on the map), Illyria, Macedonia, Lydia, Ionia, Thrace, Thessaly, Euboea, Peloponnesus,Thera, Olympia, Sparta, Thebes, Athens, Marathon, Delphi, Troy, Sardis, Pella.

  H.W.- Answer questions 1 - 5 on page 53.

Period #4 English Literature 7 Worked on "Writing the All-Purpose Paragraph". 

We went over the example and started on the "Explanation".

HW : For tomorrow, write the introduction and statement for the new paragraph. How can the expression, "Live life simply, simply so that others can live", be applied to everyday life. We will work on the actual paragraph in class tomorrow.
