17/01/12 Tuesday, Day 5

I have noon duty this week. If you owe me time or need extra help, it will have to be in the AM. I have B-ball practice on Thursday and games on Tuesday, Wed and Friday.

Learn the locations of the following: Adriatic Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea, Hellespont, Crete(Which is actually not on the map), Illyria, Macedonia, Lydia, Ionia, Thrace, Thessaly, Euboea, Peloponnesus,Thera, Olympia, Sparta, Thebes, Athens, Marathon, Delphi, Troy, Sardis, Pella.
  H.W.- Read over and make notes on each paragraph on pages 52 - 53 down to the questions. On the map in your map book, on page 61, place the locations listed above. 

Period #4 English Literature 7 Worked on "Writing the All-Purpose Paragraph". 
We went over the example and started on the "Explanation".
HW : For tomorrow, write the outline for the paragraph: How can the expression, "Live life simply, simply so that others can live", be applied to everyday life. We will work on the actual paragraph in class tomorrow.
