  Period #1 English Grammar-Grammar Quiz on rules to date to be written on Friday, October 14. 
Went over rules on quotation marks.
Spelling words 10 - 15of List #4.

  We will be spending a lot more time on the Grammar rules. Some people are having difficulty in specific situations and these need to be resolved.
 H.W. - Spelling words 5 - 10 in List #3. Spelling (Know how to spell each word, define each word and use each word in a sentence that shows the meaning of the word.)Grammar - . Ex. "A" on page 37. Study for the Quiz.


Period #3 History 7 and 8 -Life Skills - on Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger.
 We covered up to page16.
Questions for Thursday, October 13: 1. Explain the logic for why church and state were combined by the Sumerian kings.
2. How a bureaucracy can be both good and bad?
H.W.- Read Genesis Chapter 13. Answer the questions above. Just before you drift off to sleep, think about all of the things that must have had to happen in order for evolution to occur.
