I have lunch duty all of this week. Extra help will be in the AM or after school. I can help you at noon if it is quiet downstairs - if it is a warm week, everyone will go outside.
Renae and Adrielle have still not completed their scriptures and have not made up time. It is now out of my hands.

Home Work - Study and work on indirect objects. 

Period #3 History 7 + 8   We wrote the Quiz on 7.3

 History TEST - on Tuesday, May 08. This will be on all of chapter 7. Multiple choice, fill in the blanks, and list.

HW:Study for the TEST tomorrow on Chapter 7.

Period #4 Literature 7Literature

We started with the history of poetry. Looked at "Barbara Allen" for diction. "Twa Corbies" 'The Ballad of the Edmund Fitzgerald. A Ballad - characteristics.
HW: Study the characteristics of the ballad.

Period #5 Grammar 7  Grammar Quiz on predicate nominative and direct object is scheduled for Wed., May 09.

Home Work - Be ready to write your pre-test if you have not. If you wrote it and did not pass it, then do more practice exercises. Study for your quiz on Pred. Nom. and Dir. Obj.

Period #7 - Literature 8  Literature 
From the poem," Summer" by the Afters, pick out three different figures of speech and literary devices. Make two comments on the diction of the poem.
HW: Bring in a poem to study for Lit. class.
