09/11/11 Wednesday, Day 5

I have moved the History Test to Thursday, maybe during LS.                     
The Quarter officially ends on Thursday so push those last four days.
LS Thursday is during period # 6. It will probably be your History TEST.
  I will be available for extra help morning, noon and night.

Period #1, We wrote the Grammar II - Test.Working on the different types of sentences.

Period #3 History 7 and 8 - History TEST on the first three chapters on Thursday, Nov.10. Study the identifies and bold print. Know the map on page 21 as per below in HW.
 Chapter 3 Egypt. Went over the last two pages of Chapter 3.
H.W.- Read Genesis Chapter 22. Map on page 21 - Know: Upper Egypt, Lower Egypt, Sahara Desert, Gulf of Suez, Mediterranean Sea, Giza, Cairo, Memphis, Thebes(Karnak, Luxor), and Rosetta. Study for the TEST. Know the levels of Egyptian society and the ten plagues that have been on the board for the past two days. STUDY.


Period #4 English Literature 7
Went over the HW and continued through the story. I read the next poem and talked of the comparison of the farm too a ship and of the father to a captain.
HW : Read the story "Dr. Johnson and His Father", Answer the questions on page 23.

Period #5 English Grammar 7 - We wrote the Grammar Test Spelling Quiz on Thursday, Nov.10 on List #5.
