03 Nov/2011, Thursday, Day 1

Some people still do not have their Bible Memory verse completed yet. Be prepared to stay after school tomorrow.
Double - double periods 5 and 6. You can bring food but you might want to eat it early or much later in the class. 
 Don't tell anybody but next week I do not have any duty. That means that I will be available morning, noon and night.
 Tests and Quizzes coming up next week. Report cards the following week.

 Chapter 3 Egypt. Went over the first two pages of Chapter 3..
H.W.- Read Genesis Chapter 22. Map on page 21 - Know: Upper Egypt, Lower Egypt, Sahara Desert, Gulf of Suez, Mediterranean Sea, Giza, Cairo, Memphis, Thebes(Karnak, Luxor), and Rosetta.  Read pages 26 - 29. Answer Questions 1 - 4 on page 29.


Period #4 English Literature 7 Test on Wed. Nov. 09 to cover everything since the first of the year.
Went over the HW and continued through the story.

10. Caddie's father seems to have the whole thing figured out, regarding, Caddie, and being a lady. What is his philosophy towards what a woman (Caddie) should be?
11. Most people do not like injustice. Where did Caddie see injustice in her treatment by her mother?
12.How did Caddie see being a lady as being a great "responsibility"?

HW:  Make a list of the thing that Caddie is not looking forward to when becoming a "Lady".
